Post-Doctoral Fellow: One postdoctoral (PDF) position is available at the eMinds Lab to support the research on development of e-nose systems, sensors, micromachined gas sensors, biosensors, and MEMS ultrasonic transducers. The candidate should have a PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related fields. Familiarity with MEMS Technology, Micro and Nano Fabrication Techniques, and FEM simulation software (e.g., COMSOL) are required. Candidate should have ability to work independently as well as within a team, and effectively interact with collaborators. Candidate should have demonstrated research productivity and leadership qualities.

PhD Students: There are openings for PhD students (Electrical Engineering) in eMinds lab in the area of sensors / micromachined gas sensors (2 positions) and development of micromachined ultrasonic transducer (1 position). The projects involve design, simulation, fabrication and evaluation of integrated sensors for environmental monitoring and medical applications, and MEMS transducers for medical imaging.

Candidates are encouraged to forward their full CV and transcripts, along with a brief statement of research interests to: Dr. Arezoo Emadi (arezoo.emadi AT uwindsor.ca), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Windsor, ON.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
